"The Free Music Archive offers free downloads under Creative Commons and other licenses. Please visit the track page to discover what you can and cannot do with each track." とありますが、クリエイティブ・コモンズの考え方に沿って（＝違法性なく）無料でMP3をダウンロードできます。
まだArchiveと言うほど曲数は多く無いですが、ジャンル分けも細かいので探しまわるのも楽しいです。
個人的にはClassicalで色々と聴いたりしてます。
